Interview with the Winner of WWC 5th

Please introduce yourself.

I am David Israelow, from New York City. I have trained in french and Japanese cuisine in New York and Japan. I also spend time farming And traveling.

Why did you entry to WWC? What was the most challenging thing for the competition?

I entered WWC to test my skills and for an opportunity to learn more about Japanese cuisine. It was a challenging and rewarding experience.

How was your stay in Japan? Will you tell us what are you planning to do next?

I had a great time in Japan, I stayed for 2 months of cooking, training and traveling from
Hokkaido to Kyoto. I will continue to learn, travel, study, cook and explore. In New York, Japan around the US and wherever else I end up in between.
